Chihuahua memorial gifts
A chihuahua is mostly ears and eyes, on a face that does not sit still. Photographed from standing height they become a small blur with two huge ears at the bottom of the frame. What fixes it is getting down to their level, not a better phone: at eye level the face fills the picture instead of disappearing behind the ears.
Everything here is made from a photo you already have, in Chengdu, one at a time. Nothing is posted to us.

What suits a chihuahua
| For this animal | What it means for the piece |
|---|---|
| Size and weight | A chihuahua runs 2–6 lb (1–3 kg), so it sits in the S collar tag — 2.5cm, 6g. The L (3cm, 9g) is too big for the collar and looks clumsy on a dog this small. |
| The coat | Smooth or long. A smooth coat reads cleanly; a long coat needs the ruff in frame or the portrait turns into a generic small dog. Either way there is almost no undercoat, so a fur keepsake is a pinch you collect from brushing, not a handful off the floor. |
| The photo | Get low. A photo taken standing up makes a chihuahua a dot at the bottom of the frame with ears. At their eye level the face is the picture. |

Two waiting times, and we do not average them: pieces made from scratch take about 15 days to make and then 10–14 days tracked — roughly four weeks door to door. Ready-made pieces arrive in 8–12 days.
Before you order: the photo
- Level, not above. Kneel. A chihuahua photographed from standing height is a small shape with ears; at their level the face is the picture.
- Ears in frame. The ears are half the likeness. A tight head crop that cuts them off loses the dog.
- Eyes open. They blink fast and look away fast; the one sharp photo with both eyes open is the one to send.
- Say the coat. “Smooth” or “long, cream” — one line tells the designer whether to leave the ruff in.
If the only photo you have is an old one from years ago, that is still the right photo to start with. Send it before you order and we will tell you what it can and cannot hold — that conversation is free, and it is the point at which a portrait can still change.

Also by animal
If the piece matters more than the breed, start at memorial keepsakes by animal. For other dogs the size guidance barely changes; for cats it does — see the cat page. Everything we make is on the shop page.
