English bulldog memorial gifts

An English bulldog is mostly texture: the rope over the nose, the folds behind the head, the jaw that sits forward of everything else. A portrait of one either gets those three things or it looks like a generic heavy dog — so the photo matters more than the size of the piece.

What suits a english bulldog

For this animalWhat it means for the piece
Size and weight18–25kg means the XL tag — 3.5cm, 12g. A bulldog's neck is thick and short, so a small tag sits awkwardly and reads as a bell rather than a portrait.
The headWide, low, heavily folded. At 3.5cm you get the silhouette, the jaw and the ears; the folds need the 8cm leather portrait to read properly.
The photoSide light, from slightly above. Shot from below, the chin and chest merge into one mass and the nose disappears into the shadow of the brow.

Before you order: the photo

Send two photos if you have them — one straight on, one from the side. Between them we can usually find the folds. If neither works, we say so before you pay.

Made from one photo

Two waiting times, and we do not average them: pieces made from scratch take about 15 days to make and then 10–14 days tracked — roughly four weeks door to door. Ready-made pieces arrive in 8–12 days.

Questions people ask

Will the wrinkles show on a brass tag?
Partly. At 3.5cm the folds become a few carved lines. For the full texture, the leather portrait at 8cm is the honest answer.
He had a very pale coat. Does that make the portrait harder?
It makes it easier, actually — pale coats hold shadow well. What we need is the light to come from the side so the folds cast something.
Can you put his name on the tag?
Yes, on the back, included. We confirm the wording with the design.
