French bulldog memorial gifts
The French bulldog is the opposite problem to a retriever: the face is all structure and almost no distance between the eyes and the nose. Get the light from the side and the wrinkles read as the animal; get it from the front with a flash and you get a dark mask with two bright spots.
Every piece is made to order from a photo, in Chengdu. Nothing is posted to us — no fur, no ashes, no collar.

What suits a french bulldog
| For this animal | What it means for the piece |
|---|---|
| Size and weight | At 8–13kg a Frenchie takes the L tag — 3cm, 9g — with the S (2.5cm, 6g) only if the animal was small. The XL looks oversized on a dog this compact. |
| The face | Flat nose, deep folds, ears set high. The ears are what people recognise first, so the design keeps them crisp even when the muzzle is short. |
| The photo | Side light, no flash, and the dog looking slightly off-camera. A straight-on flash photo flattens the folds into one dark shape. |

Two waiting times, and we do not average them: pieces made from scratch take about 15 days to make and then 10–14 days tracked — roughly four weeks door to door. Ready-made pieces arrive in 8–12 days.
Before you order: the photo
- Side light. Window light from one side keeps the folds; a front-facing flash turns the whole face into a dark mask.
- The ears in frame. On a Frenchie the ears do most of the recognising. Do not crop them to fill the picture with the face.
- One eye clear. Short muzzles often photograph with the eyes in shadow — a second photo taken a step to the side usually fixes it.
- Standing or sitting, not mid-roll. The design is built from the head shape; a blurred action shot gives us nothing to work from.
Send the photo before you pay and we will say whether it holds. For a dog this compact, the honest answer is often “the 3cm tag, not the pendant” — a smaller face carries less, and it is better to hear that up front.
Questions people ask
My photo is of him asleep on the sofa. Does that work?
Will the wrinkles show on a 3cm tag?
Brindle coat — will it come out as brown?

If the piece matters more than the breed, start at memorial keepsakes by animal. For other dogs the size guidance barely changes; for cats it does — see the cat page. Everything we make is on the shop page.
