The shape is cast from a mould; what makes it yours is the painting. Coat colour, markings, nose and eyes are done one piece at a time, against your photo.

Sits still on a shelf
The head is 3–5cm tall and about 100g; the full body 7–10cm and about 500g — small enough to sit on a shelf beside a photo frame. Plaster is a keepsake material: indoors and dry, and it will outlast the photographs.

We photograph the finished piece and send it to you. If the markings are off, we have it repainted before it goes anywhere.

Questions people ask

Head or full body — which one should I pick?
Head if the face is what you want to keep: all of the work goes into the eyes and the markings, so it is the closer likeness. Full body if the pose is the point. If you only have a close-up photo, the head is the safer choice.
Will it actually look like my pet?
The shape comes from a mould; the likeness comes from the painting. We paint from your photo — coat colour, markings, the shape of the blaze on the nose — and we send you a photo of the finished piece before it ships. If something is off, we have it repainted.
Is the painting printed on?
No. Each piece is painted by hand after it is cast, one at a time. Printed figurines show a dot pattern at close range; these do not.
Can it go outside, in the garden?
No. Plaster takes up water and does not survive frost — this one is for indoors.
Can I return it?
Custom piece — once making has started it is not refundable, and we confirm the details with you while it is being made.
